Really nice sketches man, you get a good sense of detail and focus on particular areas using the markers and pen

thanks man! im loving them, just kicking myself I didnt try them sooner, they are kind of like working with ink washes but without the hassle. You can be very loose and rapid with them, in fact I think they look better the more loose you are

Get out of town, if only someone had told you to loosen up years ago... ah well

0ooo0 getting flash backs from the Park are you? :P Well I think the marker medium suits loose stuff more than others. Ink for instance isnt really a loose medium, you can do, but Im not a big fan of loose inkwork

Lol oh those glory days in the park, you are right though, these kinds of markers are fantastic when used loosely, you should have a look at Adam Hughes convention sketches, some of the effects he gets are fantastic and really simple to do

lol ages ago now, that art in the park thingy.

Adam Hughes rocks! I only took a quick look at his marker work so far tho, ill have to give him a proper look so, those convention sketches seemed really pretty and quick!
