Mesolithic Shaman- A Process

First I did a series of developed Silhouettes- as you can see, very rough still

I took 3 of these and developed them into fuller characters 

I chose one that I felt most appropriate to the period and character, that also wasn't your typical Shaman. Then I did variation on her costume costume

Then I did a series of mini portraits to try to work out her character

Then I added a series of tattoos to both body and head- utilising designs from Ertebølle Paddle

Then I did the final Image
